Paws & Pals in Independence uses animal-assisted therapy and mentoring with children and teens who are struggling with mental health conditions, so they can build coping skills. It offers individual therapy, group therapy, play therapy and social emotional learning programming, along with its K.I.N.D. therapy animal program and P.A.W.S. youth mentoring.
