The Blind Center, the Beaufort County Association for the Blind and Visually Impaired, has served people who are blind or visually impaired in eastern North Carolina for more than 40 years. Based in Washington, it offers independent living skills training, assistive technology resources and classes in technology, finance, cooking and arts, and provides a place of support as clients work toward their own goals.
