Beginnings for Parents of Children Who Are Deaf Or Hard of Hearing
BEGINNINGS provides emotional, informational and technical support to parents of children who are deaf or hard of hearing, and to deaf parents with hearing children, for children from birth through age 21. It helps families understand hearing loss and communication options, works with them from birth to age three, through the school years and into the transition to adulthood, and explains their rights under IDEA, Section 504 and the ADA so they can make informed decisions.
