Riverwood Therapeutic Riding Center
Riverwood Therapeutic Riding Center provides certified equine-assisted services and farm-based learning on 53 acres in Tobaccoville, serving Forsyth, Yadkin, Stokes, Surry and Davie counties. Children and adults with developmental, physical, social and emotional disabilities, acquired chronic conditions and diagnosed mental health disorders ride and work with horses under an individual treatment plan with short and long term goals. The center serves more than 200 clients a year, including students referred through local school systems.
