Volunteer Guardianship One-on-one
Volunteer Guardianship One on One has served Hunterdon County and central New Jersey since 1996 by recruiting, screening, training, matching and supervising community volunteers who act as legal guardians for adults who lack the cognitive ability to make their own decisions. The adults it serves include people with developmental or intellectual disabilities and people with significant health-related cognitive impairment such as dementia, and the volunteers make substitute decisions while preserving the person's voice.
