Independent Living Resource Center
Independent Living Resource Center is one of five Centers for Independent Living in New Mexico, founded in 1989 and serving 10 counties. It provides independent living services, education and awareness, nursing home transition and youth transition, and personal care services, along with advocacy for people with all disabilities. It is consumer controlled, with people with disabilities forming the majority of its board and staff.
