The Axis Project is a New York City nonprofit offering adaptive fitness, wellness, recreation, creative arts, peer support, leadership development and community engagement programming for people with physical disabilities and older adults. Its accessible, universally designed space uses adaptive equipment and training so members can build strength and skills, reduce isolation and take part more fully in community and civic life.
