Main Place INC
The Main Place is a peer-run organization serving more than 700 adults a year in Licking and Knox counties who experience serious and persistent mental illness, including schizophrenia, bipolar disorders, clinical depression and panic and anxiety disorders. It provides peer support delivered by staff with lived experience, mental health treatment services, housing placement assistance and drop-in centers. The organization states that without these supports many members would live in a state psychiatric institution or another restrictive setting.
