Autism Society of America
The Autism Society of Northwest Ohio promotes the active and informed involvement of autistic people and their family members in planning individualized services and supports. It runs Sibshops, workshops and community events, including an inclusive woodworking and crafting camp for kids ages 8 to 18 with Inspired Lumber Workshop, the Lucas County Board of Developmental Disabilities and the City of Toledo. It also maintains Northwest Ohio resources on disability law, higher education and Social Security, offers webinars, and awards grants for people with ASD.
