Austin Lighthouse
Austin nonprofit combining employment and training services for people who are blind or visually impaired with a manufacturing and government contracting operation. Employs more than 400 people, over 200 of whom are blind or visually impaired, producing military apparel, hygiene products and uniform items, and operating retail base supply stores. Provides training, adaptive tools and employment coaching, serving more than 2,500 blind individuals a year.
