Less Restrictive Alternatives to Guardianship Clinic
Free legal clinic run through the University of Texas School of Law Mithoff Pro Bono Program in which supervised law student volunteers help families assess which alternatives to guardianship fit their situation and then tailor and execute the documents. Provides tailored information on powers of attorney, the Social Security representative payee program, financial supports, psychiatric and support directives, supported decision-making and community programs for people with disabilities in Travis and surrounding counties.
