East Texas Lighthouse for the Blind
Rehabilitation, education, training and employment organization for people who are blind or visually impaired, founded in 1976. Operates an AbilityOne manufacturing and employment program, Access Services, independence (adjustment-to-blindness) training, a low-vision aids store, a college preparatory program, a scholarship program funding adaptive technology and post-secondary education, Camp Lighthouse, the Blind Ambition program, and an adjustment-to-blindness peer support group.
