Metrocare Services Crisis Respite
The emergency respite service of Dallas County's local intellectual and developmental disability authority. When a family reaches a breaking point, or a person's behavior makes staying at home unsafe right then, Metrocare can arrange a short-term emergency placement for people age 10 and older, and its crisis team will come to the home or the community to help stabilize the situation.
