Area Agency on Aging of East Texas
The Area Agency on Aging of East Texas is designated by Texas HHSC to coordinate services for people age 60 and older across a 14-county region that includes Henderson, Rains and Van Zandt counties. It provides benefits counseling, care coordination, caregiver support and referral to in-home and community services, with priority for low-income, rural and limited-English-proficiency older adults. It is administered by the East Texas Council of Governments.
