Bayes Achievement Center
Bayes Achievement Center is a residential treatment and school program in Huntsville for children and young people with severe behavioral challenges and diverse exceptionalities, operating for over 30 years. It runs two programs: Piney Woods for males ages 6 to 16 with emotional and behavioral disorders or high-functioning autism, and Raven Lake for males and females ages 6 to 22 with more complex needs including autism, intellectual disabilities, traumatic brain injury and non-verbal students with significant self-care requirements. Alongside residential care and school it provides counseling, horticulture therapy, music therapy, vocational training and recreation.
