Galveston Houston Families Exploring Down Syndrome
Galveston Houston Families Exploring Down Syndrome is an all-volunteer nonprofit support organization for people with Down syndrome and their families in the Galveston, Harris and Brazoria county area. It runs age-specific and family social events, educational meetings for parents and caregivers, summer programming, a lending library, education grants for special education teachers, the annual Step Up for Down Syndrome Walk, and outreach to new and expectant parents.
