Harris County Resources for Children and Adults, Adult Services Division
The Adult Services Division of Harris County Resources for Children and Adults supports vulnerable adults in the county who cannot manage their own care or finances. It serves as public guardian for adults declared incapacitated by the probate courts, with case managers overseeing daily needs, medical care, housing, finances and property. It also runs the Senior Justice Assessment Center for residents 60 and over experiencing crime, abuse, neglect or exploitation, and a voluntary Representative Payee Program helping low-income, older or disabled adults manage their money.
