Houston Aphasia Recovery Center
The Houston Aphasia Recovery Center is a nonprofit that serves adults living with aphasia, a communication disorder most often caused by stroke or brain injury. It describes itself as a safe haven where participants take part in supported communication, therapeutic socialization, recreation and camaraderie. HARC runs in-person and virtual programs and an intensive comprehensive aphasia program (HARC ICAP).
