Harris County Department of Education Special Schools
The Harris County Department of Education Schools Division operates schools serving three populations of students: those with severe emotional or physical disabilities, troubled or adjudicated youth, and students recovering from addiction. It works with Harris County school districts to provide individualized learning through small-group instruction in highly structured classes, with the goal of helping students return to their home schools to graduate.
