Moody Neurorehabilitation Institute, founded in Galveston in 1982 as the Transitional Learning Center, provides post-acute brain injury treatment and neurorehabilitation for people recovering from acquired brain injury, stroke and other neurological conditions. It runs residential and outpatient programs combining neuropsychology and counseling, speech and language therapy, physical therapy, occupational therapy, aquatic therapy and community integration, supported by robotic and technology-assisted rehabilitation equipment.
