The Harris Center for Mental Health and IDD
The Harris Center for Mental Health and IDD is the community center designated as both the local IDD authority and the local mental health authority for Harris County. It is the largest such center in Texas, providing IDD eligibility determination and service coordination, mental health treatment, 24-hour crisis response and an Early Childhood Intervention program.
