Heart of Texas Down Syndrome Network
The Heart of Texas Down Syndrome Network is a Waco-based nonprofit supporting people with Down syndrome and their families across the Heart of Texas region. It runs social groups, fall and spring events, and welcome baskets for families of newly diagnosed babies. It also awards a college scholarship, a therapy grant, an Empowering Independence grant and the Heart of Inclusion Award, and maintains local resource and education listings.
