Delaware County Advocacy & Resource Organization
The Delaware County Advocacy & Resource Organization advocates for inclusive community practices and works to influence public policy for people with intellectual and developmental disabilities. For nearly 60 years its adult advocate has helped adults navigate the Individual Support Plan and support system, design a plan that fits the person's needs, and secure services, with help on issues including employment, housing and benefits. It also runs social and recreation activities, legislative advocacy and the Independent Monitoring for Quality (IM4Q) program.
