Special Olympics Rhode Island provides year round training and competition in Olympic type sports for people with intellectual disabilities. Alongside its sports program it runs Young Athletes, Healthy Athletes, Athlete Leadership and Unified Champion Schools. Athletes, volunteers and coaches take part through the organization statewide.
