South Dakota Deaf Resource and Outreach Programs has served deaf and hard of hearing people for more than 50 years, with an office in Rapid City. It provides information and referral that connects people to disability, civic and social programs and to resources addressing barriers in education and employment, along with assistance related to a person's rights. In partnership with Vocational Rehabilitation it provides job coaching, job shadowing, communication assistance and sensitivity training.
