Parent Educational Advocacy Training Center
The Parent Educational Advocacy Training Center, PEATC, works with families, schools and communities across Virginia to improve education and community life for children, with a special focus on children with disabilities. It offers free and confidential assistance in more than 300 languages, along with trainings and workshops on special education, dispute resolution, early childhood, family engagement, military family outreach and transition to adulthood.
