Commonwealth Community Trust administers pooled special needs trusts for people with disabilities and people who have been injured, so trust funds supplement government benefits such as SSI and Medicaid rather than replacing them. It offers first-party, third-party and settlement preservation pooled trusts, educates individuals with disabilities, families and professionals about how pooled trusts work, and awards grants to individuals with disabilities in financial need through its Charitable Fund Award program for essential services and equipment.
