Mental Health Emergency Center INC
The Mental Health Emergency Center is a county wide psychiatric emergency department in the city of Milwaukee, open 24 hours a day, every day of the year. It provides crisis mental health assessment, stabilization, treatment and transition care management for children, adolescents and adults. It was formed as a joint venture between Milwaukee County and the area's four health systems, and is operated by Advocate Aurora Health on their behalf.
