K9s 4 Mobility
K9s 4 Mobility trains, places and supports assistance dog partnerships for people with disabilities, with the aim of enhancing mobility, independence and confidence. It places four to six assistance dog teams a year and also runs an owner-trained program in which a person trains their own assistance dog under a certified trainer at the Cheyenne facility. The organization states it does not train dogs for PTSD, hearing loss, medical alerting, anxiety, behavior or emotional support.
